SENSO portrays the emotions linked to the unexpected sensations that we perceive on our skin, even at the moment of tasting the wine or looking at a painting. It is ideal for romantic candle-lit dinners or pure meditation.
The wine is best served in relaxed atmospheres and soft lighting. The SENSO canvas certainly requires touching, in order to perceive its roughness and layers of paint.
THE WINE
The tactile sensations are dominant. On the palate, the tannin of austere red wine becomes velvety as a result of extensive ageing in Slavonian oak barrels. The air that permeates the grain of the staves calms the roughness of the tannin and renders it elegant. The fruity aromas mature and blossom into and intense and captivating spiciness. The hint of walnut is in complete harmony with the taste sensations experienced. The ruby red colour is very intense with a slight tendency towards garnet.
THE ARTWORK
SENSO is stark sensuality. A natural gesture to be shared on special occasions. It comes from contrast which can be found both in the chromatic choice and the shape. The base layer of large tar brushstrokes contrasts with the gentle curves of the naked body and also allows the softening of the black. This time the cold colours like light blue, white and a captivating face mingle to give the work a delicate touch which becomes emotion.
